10 most obese countries by obesity rate 2021


RANK 1 - American Samoa (74.60%) Body Mass Index 34.9 -
2021 Population 55,100 Pacific island nations and associated states make up the top seven on a 2007 list of heaviest countries, and the top ten. In all these cases, more than 70% of citizens age 15 and over are obese.

A normal BMI is 18.5 to 24.9.The number of obese people in the world total is approximately 2.1 billion, which makes up about 30% of the total population. This number continues to rise. Over 3 million people each year die from obesity. The worldwide obesity rate has tripled since 1975.
