The Countries With The Highest Military Expenditure in 2020

2020 was the third consecutive year of U.S. military spending growth after seven years of continuous decline. Elsewhere, China was in second place with $252 billion and its military spending climbed for the 26th consecutive year. India was the world's third largest military spender last year with $72.9 billion, followed by Russia with $61.7 billion.

RANK 6 - Saudi Arabia 57.2 billion dollars The Saudi Arabian Armed Forces or SAAF are the military forces of Saudi Arabia. It consists of the Saudi Arabian Land Forces, the Royal Saudi Navy, the Royal Saudi Air Force, the Royal Saudi Air Defense, and the Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force.
RANK 7 - Germany 52.8 billion dollars The Bundeswehr is the unified armed forces of Germany and their civil administration and procurement authorities. The states of Germany are not allowed to maintain armed forces of their own, since the German Constitution.
RANK 8 - France 52.7 billion dollars The French Armed Forces encompass the Army, the Navy, the Air and Space Force, the National Guard and the Gendarmerie of the French Republic.
