Top 10 Safest Cities for Nomads and Expats 2021

Top 10 Safest Cities for Nomads and Expats 2021 🔘 MAKE SURE TO LEAVE A LIKE & A COMMENT 🔴 SUBSCRIBE IF YOU ARE NEW AND TURN THE BELL ON RANK - 1. DOHA, QATAR – This was the case for Doha, Qatar on the Nomad Quality of Life Index safety ranking. With a crime rate of just 15.87, Doha wins the spot as the safest city in the world with a perfect score of 100. The perfect score does not mean that Doha is free of crime or that it is the perfect place for the female traveller. Verbal harassment is commonplace and can even be a bit overwhelming here. For the most part, however, the harassment involves horn honking, cat-calling, and whistling as you walk by – nothing life-threatening. RANK - 2. MUNICH, GERMANY – 98.73 Munich is not only one of the safest cities in Europe but one of the safest in the world, coming in second on our list with a score of 98.73. Approximately 75% of people report feeling safe walking alone at night in Munich, the city’s crime rate is just 16.4%, and Germany as a whole has a homicide rate of just 0.5 for every 100,000 people. RANK - 3. SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE – 98.51 Crime rates in Singapore are low in almost every area. The country has a total crime rate ranking of 16.9 and scores a 98.51 on Quality of Life Index safety ranking. Many female expats living and traveling through the country report feeling safe walking around the city alone after midnight and much later. RANK - 4. TAIPEI, TAIWAN – 98.29 Asia it’s one of the safest cities in the world, especially for expats and tourists. The city is a true melting pot of cultures with people of all religious and cultural backgrounds. Crime is at a low rate of 17.38 and the city has an overall safety ranking of 98.29 – near perfect. RANK - 5. TOKYO, JAPAN – 97.14 Japan has long been known as a place where you could leave your wallet, phone, or laptop sitting out on a park bench and have no problem getting it back. Tokyo certainly lives up to this reputation. The Asian nation has a crime rate of just 19.38, an incredibly low homicide rate of 0.3 per 100,000 people, and an overall safety ranking of 97.14. RANK - 6. PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC – 95.13 Not only is Prague one of the most-visited cities in Eastern Europe and from my perspective a haven for entrepreneurs, it is also among the safest choices for first-time female solo travellers. Between its incredible architecture and its vibrant art and music scenes, the draw is understandable. A safety ranking of 95.13. RANK - 7. LISBON, PORTUGAL – 93.7 Practically every female solo travel blog on the internet has at least one post raving about how Lisbon is the perfect city for solo female travellers. And, with a total score of 93.7 on Quality of Life Index safety ranking, we would have to say that there is a good reason for so many female travellers to feel this way about the city. RANK - 8. TBILISI, GEORGIA – 93.48 This wasn’t just luck. The fortunate return of my cash was largely due to the Georgian culture and people. Crime in Tbilisi is extremely low, at a rate of just 17.25. The low crime rate, combined with other factors gave the city a score of 93.48 on our scale. RANK - 9. HONG KONG, HONG KONG – 92.59 Crime rates are incredibly low, the infrastructure and roadways are immaculate, and the police and medical services are all well-trained and efficient. These and other factors give Hong Kong an overall safety rating of 92.59, ranking it the ninth safest city in the world. RANK - 10. DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – 92.41 You probably never considered Dubai to be among the safest in the world, but with a crime rate of just 19.52 it earned the spot of the world’s tenth safest city. Its overall safety ranking Index was 92.41, making it one of only two Middle Eastern countries in our top ten. Here are the other countries from our list with a safety ranking above 90. TALLINN, ESTONIA – 91.36 VIENNA, AUSTRIA, 91.53 WARSAW POLAND – 91.96 "SOCIAL ===============================" 🐦 - FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER: https://twitter.com/estatisticas20 👥 - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Estatisticas... 📸 - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/estatistica... TOP 10 MOST EXPENSIVE CITIES FOR EXPAT LIVING 2021

TOP 10 MOST EXPENSIVE CITIES FOR EXPAT LIVING 👇 SUBSCRIBE TO Estatísticas Curiosas YOUTUBE CHANNEL NOW 👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtjZ... "RANK 1- ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – 149.15 Zurich is not only the most expensive city in Europe but also the world. It is followed closely by its other Swiss counterpart, Geneva. Almost everything from entertainment to transport and rent is expensive in Zurich, a stance that is further accentuated by the strong Swiss Franc." "RANK 2 - GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – 142.12 Geneva is in close competition with Zurich as the most expensive city in the world. In fact, while it takes second place on our list, it captured the top spot on Expatistan’s cost of living index. Despite lower taxes and higher salaries, many residents in Geneva see their money disappear into mandatory insurance payments and over-priced goods and services." "RANK 3 - REYKJAVIK, ICELAND – 130.73 While Iceland may seem unassuming, it will quickly take your cash and run with it if you ever decide to settle down for a time in the country’s capital city. Reykjavik beats out cities like New York and Tokyo for cost of living by a long shot. Consumer prices are 17.76% higher in Reykjavik than in New York, grocery prices are 14.32% higher, and restaurant prices are 20.47% higher." "RANK 4 - OSLO, NORWAY – 114.78 Very few things in Norway’s capital, Oslo, could be considered cheap, not even in comparison to prices in the rest of Europe. It’s bad news when your claim to glory is taking the number one spot for the most expensive Coca-Cola in the world." "RANK 5 - BERGEN, NORWAY – 112.60 Bergen is one of Norway’s biggest tourist destinations, boasting stunning views of the Nordic country’s fjords along its west coast. Anyone looking to become more than just a tourist in Bergen may be convinced otherwise by the city’s brutally expensive food and drinks. Even supermarkets charge prices that are almost double anything else you will find in Europe." "RANK 6 - HONOLULU, HAWAII, USA – 103.30 Beating out New York City as the most expensive city in the United States, Honolulu, Hawaii takes sixth place among the world’s most expensive cities.Like Norway, Hawaii’s food prices are sky-high thanks to the increased costs of importation. Because of this, Honolulu has the world’s most expensive toilet paper: roughly $6 for a pack of four rolls!" "RANK 7 - NEW YORK, NY, USA – 100 New York unquestionably lives up to its reputation as one of the most expensive cities in the world. Groceries can cost anywhere from 28 to 39% more than the US national average and eating out is equally expensive. A meal for two at a half-decent restaurant accompanied by some wine will cost you at least $75, if not more – 60% higher than the national average." "RANK 8 - TOKYO, JAPAN – 97.71 One of the world’s most populous cities, Tokyo is Japan’s “new capital,” reflective of the fast-paced high-tech vibe that the “New Japan” has embraced. A three-bedroom apartment can cost upwards of 9,000 USD while astronomical real estate prices put the likes of New York’s SoHo lofts to shame. Still, the average monthly rent sits just around $2,500." "RANK 9 - COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – 97.14 Even by European standards, Denmark is an expensive expat destination. The cost of living is high, especially when it comes to eating out, paying for gas and utilities, and spending on accommodation and transportation." "RANK 10 - SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 94.24 Sydney is a beautiful city. From the Opera House to the Harbour Bridge to Bondi Beach and Darling Harbour, there are more than a few ways to enjoy the fascinating Australian city. 🔘 MAKE SURE TO LEAVE A LIKE & A COMMENT 🔴 SUBSCRIBE IF YOU ARE NEW AND TURN THE BELL ON "SOCIAL ===============================" 🐦 - FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER: https://twitter.com/estatisticas20 👥 - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Estatisticas... 📸 - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/estatistica...
